Gas/Heating Administrator- Social Housing/Property Services (Temp to Perm)

One of our larg Gas Services and Property Services clients are looking to hire a Gas/Heating Administrator on a temp to perm contract in Hertfordshire.

This role is working within Gas Servicing/Breakdown and Property Services (Maintenance) and you will be responsible daily for the following

* Booking in work for operatives daily to attend properties- this will be mainly Gas Engineers/Trades Operatives via our clients in-house booking system to attend gas servicing/breakdown jobs.
* Assigning work to Engineers/Operatives within a set time frame and informing building managers/tenants of attendance and booking appointments accurately that suits all parties against SLA.
* Raising new jobs, closing completed jobs and booking on follow-on works on our clients in house booking system and sharing diaries with managers and colleagues.
* Ordering materials for jobs to be completed when required- this includes purchasing, invoicing and excel spreadsheet management for costing.
* Booking in and liaising with external sub-contractors as and when required for specialist works.
* Data entry and report running.
* All administrative tasks inc. Email correspondence with Engineers/Operatives, colleagues, contractors and 3rd parties, excel spreadsheet maintenance, diary management via outlook, typing/distributing letters, filing and faxing.
* Call handling.
* Certification checks and ensuring training/certifications are in date in like with health and safety.
* Arranging training courses/refresher courses for engineers/operatives when required

This role is working within the Gas Servicing and Breakdown division of our clients offices and ideally you will have worked with M&E operations, construction, property services, social housing or domestic/commercial gas/heating sector. You will ideally be fully computer literate and be confident in all Microsoft Office packages.

Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner is highly desirable.

Offering a salary of between £20,000-22,000 PA DOE working full time Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (hours are non-negotiable). This is a temporary to permanent role and a permanent contract may be offered after a successful 12 week probationary period.
