Contract Administrator – Gas/ Housing / Property Services (Temp to Perm)

One of our large Property Services clients are looking to hire a Contract Administrator on a temp to perm contract in Hertfordshire.

Due to contract expansion and our client winning works across London and Hertfordshire. They are looking to expand their team!
The main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows

* Providing day to day administration support for various projects
* Arranging surveyor visits on a planned and reactive basis
* Planning/scheduling multi trade operative's workloads, engineer, builders and electrical work
* Raising material orders for operatives
* Planning workload to meet completion date deadlines
* Collating all supporting documents
* Recording, processing and resolving queries
* Liaising with internal teams, chasing progress and collating all supporting documents *
* Ensuring all internal systems are consistently maintained by updating status on real time basis.
* Liaising with residents/operatives /surveyors/supervisors/clients
* Answering telephone calls from customers with queries
* Producing update reports for internal management

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications

* 3 years' experience in a similar role is preferred
* Being organised and efficient are key skills which you will utilise on a daily basis.
* Have a flexible approach to working, with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team Good IT skills including Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and Outlook) and extensive experience of using and updating databases.
* Excellent administration skills
* High level of customer service skills and a good telephone manner * Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* High level of the English language, both written and verbal
* Have an excellent eye for detail and a flexible approach as well as being articulate and a good communicator
* Keen to learn and develop within an administrative role
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Good customer service skills
* Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential matters
* * GCSE

This role is working within the Gas Servicing and Breakdown division of our clients offices and ideally you will have worked with M&E operations, construction, property services, social housing or domestic/commercial gas/heating sector. You will ideally be fully computer literate and be confident in all Microsoft Office packages.

Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner is highly desirable.

The role is offering £9.62 GBP Per hour PAYE (Holiday Pay added on top @ 12.07%) and is working full time Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (hours are non-negotiable). This is a temporary to permanent role and a permanent contract may be offered after a successful 12 week probationary period.
