Week Day Customer Service Advisor / Call Handler- Heating/Gas/Housing (Temp Ongoing)

One of our large Gas/Heating clients in Hertfordshire are looking for Customer Service Advisors to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. This role is working within a call centre environment and you will be carrying out the following duties

* To identify and understand customer needs, delivering a market leading customer service to increase the profitability of the business, remaining committed to treating customers fairly * Create a safe environment with the aim of achieving a zero incident work space and ensuring that teams take responsibility for themselves and each other * Contribute to the workstream to deliver objectives to agreed business targets (including sales growth, quality and compliance) * Identify and understand customer needs in order to provide a consistently high quality service and effectively cross-sell * products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase their retention * Follow clear instructions and guidelines to investigate, resolve and process high volume customer enquiries to deliver customer value at first point of contact * Investigate and resolve routine customer complaints to ensure delivery of an efficient and effective service to the customer; escalate any queries or complaints to the relevant team to ensure they are handled and resolved in a timely manner * Provide accurate information on products and services to ensure consistency across the organisation and provide a reliable and trustworthy customer service * Deliver customer outcomes that meet company values and our commitment to treating customers fairly * Identify any operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriate * Operate customer related information systems to the required standard to maintain accurate and secure records. * Understand and adhere to the company and department standards, policies and procedures * Adhere to the Competence and Training procedures, in particular, to promote a culture where customers are treated fairly and are properly informed *

This role is a very fast paced role and will be working within a busy work environment. You will ideally be able to work under pressure and be confident in call handling and have strong administration skills. Ideally you will have strong background in call centre work and/or customer service. Experience in gas/heating and servicing is highly advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to work within a well established and reputable company and work your way through the ranks!

The starting salary for Customer Service Advisors is £10.80/Hour Umbrella or LTD. Working Mon-Friday 8am-5pm.

Please note we also have late shifts working on a 4 on 4 off basis (includes some weekends) 4pm-10pm.

Due to location of the office it is preferred if you drive.

Please note this role is temporary to permanent and the first 12 weeks will be through us as an agency and may go on to permanent thereafter.

This role is immediate and our client would like someone in place ASAP-February 2019.
