Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: London

Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer – £55K – £65K

My client that has been around since the 80’s and offer an a wide range of Consultancy Services are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to play a leading part in their London office, where they will be expected to run teams and be the face of projects.

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be involved in all aspect of design whilst managing and leading small to medium scale projects. You will also have a few engineers working under you who you will mentor and help develop and have overall responsibility for. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve being client facing so you must have very good communication skills and be able to stand on your own two feet in front of clients and other external parties. You will also be involved in project fee’s, bids and tenders so having a good understanding of this will be beneficial.
