The Company

As the recently formed main contracting arm of a £2bn turnover global company my clients are family owned, cash-rich and have stability and security. With an existing team of engineers, utilities etc. you can enrich your knowledge by speaking to your colleagues.
Specialising in the residential and commercial London market projects range in value form £10m – £15m with a lot of bids for £20m +. As a Design Manager, you will be managing multiple projects from pre-contract to delivery. With a Design team of 5 staff, they are a sociable bunch with a collaborative team ethic.

The Position

As a Design Manager, you will be taking responsibility for the project from start to finish. The following skill sets are beneficial

* Building and maintaining internal and external relationships
* Contract & commercial awareness
* Development experience
* Good technical knowledge and skills.
* Management of design Consultants Decision making
* Problem-solving
* Good time management with the ability to multi-task
